Diamond Sutra

I was going to buy you a diamond ring so big that on sunny days you could raise your hand like asking a question to the heavens and they answered by spraying a rainbow out the other side of the prism.

You'd tell people that at the end there was a pot of gold and they'd believe you.

Because how else could anyone afford a diamond that big?

  1. Mr. Ritter: I really enjoy what you're doing in this space on your blog. These short quips remind me of Vonnegut a bit, and I like that too. However, much like the beginning of a Vonnegut novel, I'm wondering how all these pieces fit together. Are these different sections supposed to add up to a larger whole, or are they supposed to be stand-alone thoughts? I was also wondering what your plans were for the poetry and prose sections? They seem to be sparse. All in all, though, I enjoy your blog. I like your writing style, your directness with your audience, and the general look and appearance of your blog.
